The Rocky Horror Picture Show is set for a makeover
with a new cast, a few new songs, and a new setting. Rumor has it that it will take place in
Hollywood and Dr. Frank-n-furter will be a plastic surgeon. Sounds kind of like a musical version of Death Becomes Her.

Lou Adler, The Rocky Horror Picture Shows original producer is still putting the finishing touches to a new cast list, with hopes to have
a new TV movie of Rocky Horror ready for Halloween 2003 on Fox Television.
Lou admited that the project has taken a long time to come together because he has been unable to find a replacement for Tim Curry.
The producer says, "I just never found the right person but now I have. We're going to wait until March and then probably do it
for next Halloween."
We have come across some information of who is tentively scheduled to work on the movie.
 Marilyn Manson is rumored to be playing Dr. Frank-N-Furter
Michael Hurst will be Riff-Raff. Michael is known for his portrayal of
 Iolaus in Hercules.
Joel Tobeck will be affiliated with the film but we don't know what part
he will play.
Stephan Elliott, who is best known as the author of Priscilla Queen
of the Desert, is named to direct and write for the film.
Lou Adler will be executive producer
Richard O'Brien Will make a cameo and wrote the original Music
Marius De Vries is slated as executive music producer. He was also a
composer for the award winning Moulin Rouge.

However, Joel and Michael do come to this movie with some "Rocky" experience. Joel played Dr. Frank-n-Furter in the New Zealand version of The Rocky Horror Show in 2002.
and received rave reviews. Michael played Riff-Raff in the same show as well as did New Zealand television commercials for its advertising.

We find the cast of the Michael and Joel very interesting. Regardless of their previous work. Michael seen on the
left is a very well built blonde. And Joel on the right is a scrawny pale guy. And Michael as Riff-Raff ? There is no
doubt that this will be interesting.
One person who will not be affiliated with the show is extremely outspoken Susan Sarandon.
Susan, remembered for such Hollywood epics as Lady Liberty, Checkered Flag or Crash, and The Great Smokey Roadblock has
made it very clear that she will have no part in the remake.
